A look at Fantastico De Luxe

Fantastico De Luxe is an automated installation program for installing scripts in a domain hosting account. It works within cPanel but is a third party add-on product. It can automatically install many open source scripts (mostly PHP scripts), eliminating the need to upload files via FTP and manually create databases.

The scripts can be installed in the top level domain, add-on domains, subdomains and even in directories. It gives you the ability to install multiple instances of almost all of the scripts offered. PHPcoin can only be installed once.

The installation procedure is painless and only takes a few seconds. No downloading, unzipping, uploading or configuration is required. No creating databases, importing structure, chmoding files or any of the other ornery tasks usually associated with script installations. Just click and go. It will even email you the details of the installation for future reference. Many of the scripts can be updated as bugs are fixed or new releases are available.

At the time of this writing, August 23, 2006 the following scripts were available for automatic install on most servers. All of these may not be available on every server. Please check with your potential provider for what scripts are on their server.
